Abstract
Employees in any workplace, whether physical or virtual, have certain fundamental rights to privacy. These rights form the cornerstone of a healthy, respectful work environment and are often legally protected. In this article, we’ll explore what these rights entail and what are the obligations of the parties in this context.
In order to achieve the proposed objective, we will analyze the international legal provisions as well as those of the Republic of Moldova regarding the protection of private life at the workplace, as well as some cases from international judicial practice.
